Please rest assured that the scores are very accurately calculated by the automated system defying the chances of any miscalculations. This could be an instance wherein you have declared your cards in your first move. (Deal Show)
If the losing player has not had his first turn before a valid declaration is made, then:
- The losing player gets points equal to half of his/her hand score. For example, if the hand score for a losing player is 30 points, then the player gets 15 points.
- The minimum points a losing player can get in this case is 2 (for scores of 2,3,4, & 5). The maximum points for a losing player, in this case, are 40 (for a score of 80)
However, there are certain limits to the points a losing player can receive under the Deal Show rule:
- The minimum points a losing player can get in this case is 2 points, which applies to hand scores of 2, 3, 4, and 5.
- On the other hand, the maximum number of points a losing player can receive is 40 points, and this applies to hand scores of 80 or more.
